We no longer accept rechargeable batteries. Newspapers and magazines can either be crossed tied and bundled or put in a permanent container with other fiber recycling. Corrugated goods must be flattened and cannot contain any other packing material (peanuts and Styrofoam, etc.). Recycling must be placed in a reusable container no larger than 32 gallons with exterior handles (no 55 gallon drums or homemade containers).
If item still has Freon in it, it can be brought directly to the SCMUA where they remove the Freon.
